Well, thank you. Thank you. And we are back for another wonderful episode of life of a boss. I am Jason Hardin, I am excited to be here. And what are you guys listening to? Yeah, you guys are listening to me. And I'm proud of you for that. Because today is what I listened to. It's all about what I listen to. And that's because, you know, I get that question a lot, AJ will listen to we're gonna musically let's do what do you listen to. And to be honest, I don't just listen to music. I listen to podcasts, too. So today's episode is all about music versus podcast. And I wanted to talk about this, because what we listen to is important. Everything that we consume, or ingest is important. You know what I'm saying, and, and you're either doing something, you're even putting something in your system that's going to help you and putting something in your system that's going to hurt you, or you put something in your system that isn't going to do anything for you. You don't I'm saying so. Personally, I like to put something in my system that's going to help me you know, I tried to do that, it doesn't always work. But I try to do that. And, and that's what this is about. And I, I enjoy music everybody Well, I'm not gonna say everybody can't speak for everybody else. But a lot of people enjoy music for all the wonderful reasons, you know, it can inspire, you can take us back to a great memory to a great time, you know, music is great, but I want you guys to be more intentional, you know, with what you listen to him what you put in your system, me, I have become very intentional over the last few years, I mean, to the point where I always want to be multitasking, doing more than one thing, because there's always so much that I'm trying to get done. You know, and if you're a boss, it's gonna be a lot of things on your plate. So how can you make the most out of every opportunity, and not just every opportunity every moment you have. So I started listening to podcasts, you know, at first I started listening to podcasts because I wanted to create a podcast, and I wanted to listen to formats and, and you know, some of the show structures that were going on, and everybody takes some notes. But after researching a few podcasts, and you know, listening, how they structured the show, how they set it up the format and all that I started actually listening to the podcast, and I started learning and becoming inspired and getting ideas and, and it was like, whoa, whoa, I kind of like this. I kind of like this, you know. So now, I won't hesitate to listen to a good podcast, you know, and it's a very, it's a big switch. Because when I was younger, hated talk radio, and all podcasts used to talk radio, you get out of hand. And if you tell some people, that right now they'll get turned off Oh, talk radio. You know, I hated it when I was young. But as an adult, I realize that I don't hate it after all or anymore, because now I'm learning because when I was a child, all I want to do is play. And as an adult, it's not a whole lot of play. And if we do play a song, Big Boy level, and we play live because we work hard, and I'm trying to work more than not. And in a way that I like to work I don't like slaving for other people I don't like clocking in on like checking in and doing somebody else's duties. But when it comes to my business, I love to work. So I love to try to maximize my time. And one thing that did that is listening to podcast. So now I found that when like when I'm on a long drive, instead of bumping some some to park like I used to just bump in the latest hip hop or whatever, on a long time I actually listened to podcast, and I will get into it, and we can listen to hours of it now, for me, oh

my god go out of town and we drive we put on podcast, you know, we discuss them and we get ideas. And we brainstorm and we make mental notes and physical notes too. And it helps us you know, it actually serves a purpose is actually conducive to our intention on being successful in accomplishing certain things. So I want to challenge you guys to mix it up a little bit. You know, I get it, you know, and then that's why I want to backtrack a little bit. I listen to podcasts, when I can't do anything else, you know, when I'm already doing something else that they require motor skills, and I have just attention to spare, you know, so I'll listen to podcast while I'm driving. I'll listen to podcast while I'm cleaning the house. I'll listen to podcasts while I'm doing something like that. But when I'm working and I'm in the zone, I'm doing some creative work. You know, I can listen to music, you know, and that kind of keeps me engaged and keeps me in my zone. So there's different purposes for different things. But regardless of what it is, it's me being intentional. And that's the whole point i I want you guys to be more intentional on what you're listening to. And I challenge you to add a podcast or two in your rotation or a couple days a week, it doesn't have to be on the stuff that I talked about. It doesn't have to be on the stuff that you don't like listening to. There's podcasts on literally every single topic. There is podcasts that people reading other articles and talking about other podcasts. There's podcasts and people telling you stories, there's podcasts of people, you know, making jokes in this podcast, so people just reading, you don't understand. So there's all kinds of stuff to get out there. But one thing that does a lot of podcasts on and that's teaching you how to do something, and that's the whole point, man, always stay intentional on what you're doing and do it with a purpose. When I'm listening. I'm not listening to waste time I'm listening to something to either be inspired, or to learn. So be intentional. And listen to a podcast every now and then. I love y'all Oh and before I get out of here I couldn't get out of here without telling you my favorite podcast. Some people say man what's your favorite podcast? Well, what do you like to listen to? When you listen to the podcast? And I have to tell them it's Peter boobs Young Entrepreneur lifestyle you know and to be honest man a lot of how I want to do things now in regards to getting a message out there has become inspired by him and that's one thing about a podcast you might find somebody that you'll really click with that like wow, where's this person been all my life a day and he's telling the truth? Because I'm gonna tell you where we're the type of being where we know the truth when we hear it. You don't I'm saying and there's some folks out there with some gain. Absolute game. Eric Thomas has gained Peter boog has gained Ryan Blair has gained these folks have gained James clear game. You know, I'm saying if you want to be successful, there's so many people just literally giving you the blueprint on how to be successful in different areas of life and in getting money. So please challenge yourself listen to a podcast man and be intentional about what ever it is you're doing. Anyway love your life purpose. And remember, success is a lifestyle piece.
